Inner help as a Wife

Many woman today are more outer attractive, than inner attractive. We see it today through social media post! Then when you get married, your husband sees all the things you hide from anyone seeing. Yes, you can’t pretend too long in a marriage. your husband sees how you bathe and if you get up and brushed your teeth. He sees if you drink water and exercise. He sees how you take care of the house and children. He sees how much time you really pray and do devotions.

Your husband also notice how you handle disappointments, depression, and the ups and downs of life.

It is important to value and care for yourself daily. Take moments to recover, pray, take a good bath, and even go to therapy if needed. Yet, do just look good on the outside, yet a mess on the inside.

Never think that you are alone in your care. You have God. Pray for God to help you in areas of need. Example, I use to get really angry when my husband disappointed me. Yet, I went to therapy and got help. I prayed also! Yet, I didn’t stay a mess. I got up and said “Claudina, you are to beautiful to have so much anger on the inside” I saw my value and got the help I needed in caring for myself.

I want to encourage you to put yourself in the hot seat of observation. Love yourself enough to get help!

“I been ready to be a wife.”

When my husband proposed to me I was shocked. Honestly I knew it was going to happen. We had been dating for a while. Yet, I was dating him before I even met him. I know that may sound stalkerish but let me explain lol. So while I was single for two years I studied so much about how different wives around the world are. I studied how they served and submit to their husband. I studied how to be a lady, flirt, and even how to walk into a room. I was so ready to date my now husband before we met! I am perfect “no” I made mistakes. Yet, I am glad I studied the things I did. I know many may think just go out and do “your” best. But, I highly disagree! I believe in being prepared in every area of your life. There are too many resources for woman and us reaching any goals, to not study them!

Now I say this to also encourage you to keep studying others wives and learn from them. I wasn’t raised seeing my mom serve my dad! Yet, I also saw my dad stressed because he had to make his lunch, iron his clothes, and then head to work, after preaching all weekend! So I started waking up and ironing his clothes and making his lunch. I was 11 when I starting learning “How to make life easier for the breadwinner” so I began to find it an interesting topic. I wanted to learn how I can make life so much easier for my husband.

I saved my study for my husband. The man I new deserved these great qualities! I pray you do the same!
